What it’s all about
The Thailand Entertainment Expo aims to raise the status of the country’s entertainment business to world-class levels. In doing so, the expo seeks to attract and persuade foreign investors to invest in the Thai entertainment industry.
Thailand offers great business opportunities for production and innovation within its entertainment sector, including the potential to be a regional media center with its unique combination of high-level talent and relatively low costs. The country is a source of inspiration and innovation thanks to its strong cultural emphasis on entertainment in addition to other advantages highlighted here.
Our objectives
For exhibitors
Show the Thai entertainment industry’s potential to the foreign entertainment business community as a means of building trade with foreign countries.
For visitors
Provide space to encourage trade within the entertainment industry among foreign visitors and local exhibitors. Visitors will be able to interact in one-on-one sessions with local industry suppliers, thus stimulating partnerships with entertainment companies internationally.
What the fair offers visitors
The Department of Export Promotion under the Ministry of Commerce are organizing the Thailand Entertainment Expo 2008 for different groups, both Thais and foreigners, so they both benefit from this event, whether trade participant or general visitor.
Business enterprises
As a center for trade, the expos offers face-to-face business and investment contact opportunities in the entertainment industry—including film, music, television, and animation—that can lead to joint investments and networking in the field.
Trade visitors can observe innovative capacity of all aspects of Thailand’s entertainment industry. Furthermore, businesses can browse through the different supplier booths and talk with suppliers directly.
General public visitor
The public can see how innovation has grown throughout the local entertainment sector as well as receive information about further business development.
